08 May Mother’s Day Mini Sessions!
“A mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take.”
Ah, family photoshoots completely warm my heart!
I held a Mother’s Day Mini Session special back in May and I got to photograph the most beautiful families!
I’ve had the privilege of knowing most of them for quite a while, it’s been such a blessing being able to walk a journey with such wonderful people.
So I decided to combine a few sessions to make a joyful post!
1. The MacIntyre Family!
Deryn & Emma wanted to gift their mom a photoshoot and to print out a canvas for their grandmother. I photographed Emma & John’s wedding 2 and a half years ago, and I’ll be photographing Deryn & Mark’s wedding next month, very exciting times!
2. The McCarthy Family!
Magdel had a beautiful dress made for her daughter’s wedding which took place a few weeks before our shoot. She decided to have a sunset mini shoot at the beach with her husband and 2 sons. Don’t they all just look stunning?!?
3. The Wolhuter Family & their Doggies!
Dora has been our neighbour for over a decade, so when she mentioned that she’d like to have a photoshoot with her daughter and their furry kids, I was over the moon! Definitely got all the cute feels from this shoot!
4. The Niemann Family!
This family of six is so near to my heart!
When I still taught guitar, a few of the kids were my students and even their mom joined in on the lessons!
What fun we had during our session, there were lots of laughing, waddling around in our gum boots and throwing leaves in the air!
I hope these shoots brought a smile to your face.
Being able to photograph moments like this reminds me to laugh a little more, worry less and just wholeheartedly love the ones around us! ♥️
